Alongside his music, Oliver Fauser has built an equally distinctive career as a visual artist. In the 1990s he began sketching well-known personalities with felt-tip pens. From 2005 onwards he developed a unique technique using styrofoam, filler, emulsion, oil, and acrylic, creating works with a strong and unmistakable visual language.

Between 2013 and 2019 he exhibited nearly forty times around the world: twice at Scope Basel, three times at Art Zurich, and in Tokyo, New York, France, Italy, and Germany. His art is bold, textured, and highly recognizable, carrying the same uncompromising independence as his music.

In 2016 he brought his two worlds together with Feel, a limited “Art & Music Box Deluxe”: eight songs by The Moonchildren presented in handmade wooden boxes, each accompanied by an original artwork.

Though the pandemic halted exhibitions planned for New York and beyond, Fauser remains committed to his visual work, creating paintings and objects that continue to expand his artistic universe. His art, like his music, is an expression of individuality – unmistakably his own.
